Kurt has been an insurance agent for 3 years serving all ages.  Kurt prides himself on continuing to educate himself on the newest products and best solutions for each individual's needs.  His biggest strong point with Big Horn is his detail to customer service.  Kurt goes out of his way to ensure that his clients understand what they are doing and why it is important to their particular goals.  He specializes in Life insurance, Long term care, short & long term disability along with Fixed & Indexed Annuities.

Kurt was born and raised in a small town in northwestern Minnesota. He attended Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, MN. He went to Northland Community & Technical College in Thief River Falls, MN to pursue a career in radio broadcasting/marketing.  That is a market he worked in for over 16 years prior to making the career change.  Kurt worked two years with New York Life prior to joining forces with Big Horn Senior Solutions in 2018. 
He married his wife Sara in April of 2014.  They reside a couple miles outside of Fosston, MN currently with their two daughters, Lainey and Tessa.   Kurt enjoys sporting events and that shows, as he still is involved in sideline reporting for local high school sporting events with his previous full time employer KRJM Radio out of Mahnomen, MN.  He also enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
